Online estate auctions

Online estate auctions on Vancouver Island

An online estate auction sells the contents of a home where they are. We photograph and catalogue the contents into lots, list the auction on MaxSold, and buyers bid online. When the auction closes, winning bidders come to the property during a scheduled pickup period.

We run auctions for estates, downsizing moves and businesses across Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, from our base in Mill Bay. For island properties, an auction from the home can save moving everything off the island.

Is an auction the right choice?

An auction usually suits an estate or home with a lot of saleable contents, where the family wants the contents sold, not just removed.

A clear-out may suit better when there's less of value, or when the property has to be empty by a set date. Our clear-outs include a resale credit for items we can resell. Clear-outs

Leftovers after the auction can be handled with a clear-out, so the property ends up empty.
